Alferini Golf at Villa Padierna
Alferini Golf Club is a true challenge for any golfer. Situated next to the other course of our Resort, Alferini golf course has a long layout of 6.600 metres and is one of the few par 73s on the Coast with some of the fairways requiring pinpoint accuracy and large, generous greens. With four large lakes, water comes into play on several holes, and there is a minimum of five levels on each tee enabling Alferini golf course to be adapted to different playing levels and degrees of difficulty. Out on the course there is a feeling of peace and quiet, a welcome lack of noise, because Alferini Golf Club is truly in the midst of nature, a lush valley within the mountains of Benahavís.
Alhaurin Golf resort
Alhaurin Golf allows you to use all the clubs in the bag ensuring a great day of golf where every hole is different.This beautiful 18-hole golf course has a wonderfull view for the Mijas Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. Thegolf course is made up of 5 par fives, 5 par threes and 8 par fours providing a balanced game for low and high handicappers alike. Water only comes into play on three holes and greens are lightly guarded by bunkers in most cases. Hole number 6 is unique, starting with an impressive high position tee shot and continuing through a dogleg right fairway on a hill top. In Alhaurin Golf Hotel & Resort exists also 9 hole par 3 academy golf course.
Almenara Golf Club
The Almenara Golf course is characterised by wooden terrain of pine trees and cork oaks in the front nine and with water on the back nine. Unless your exceptionally straight you are likely to find yourself in both.Two large lakes make it a picturesque course with a floodlit driving range adding to the sparkle of the water in the evenings. The greens are of a good standard but quite small.A challenging golf course with narrow and hilly fairways and typical high lipped fairway bunkers. The complex is situated on the Sotogrande estate and near the the golf courses of Valdarrama and San Roque. It is well worth playing if you are staying in this area but it does not compare in quality or design with it two famous neighbours.The Almenara golf course is also home to the Almenara School of Excellence with all modern amenities for golf practice. The school has a capacity of 90 players, 3 normal size practice holes, approach and putting areas and a swing video analysis.
Aloha Golf Club
Aloha golf course is located in the Golf Valley, in Nueva Andalucía, Marbella, and is one of the most beautiful and outstanding golf courses in Spain.This course was designed by Javier Arana, technician and strategic, and has hosted the Andalusian Open Tournament, PGA European Tour, in 2007 and 2008, standing as a reference point for both professional and amateurs who wish to enjoy the real essence of golf in a unique course with unbeatable quality.
Añoreta Golf course
Añoreta Golf is the first 18-hole golf course to be built to the east of Malaga.The Añoreta Golf Course was designed by the famed Ryder Cup Champion José María Cañizares. The par 72 has a longitude of 6,016 metres for professionals and 5,833 for amateurs.Añoreta first opened in 1990. Añoreta Golf course proves itself to be an excellent challenge for golfers of all levels with its varied and pleasant undulating greens surrounded by trees and water accentuating the natural beauty of the setting. Many of the holes are trully spectacular, in particular hole 7 with its breathtaking seaviews.The golf course offers a seventeen-hole par 3 bordered by an immense lake enhancing the emerald turf.
In 2019 summer, Anoreta changed all the greens to Bermuda Mini Green P18.
Atalaya Golf New Course
Atalaya New Golf Course opened in 1990 with 18 holes, Par 71 and a length of 5142 meters
Atalaya New is more challenging and hilly then the Old course. While the experts might find the challenge a little limited, the average club golfer will certainly find it quite enough to handle as the greens are sharply contoured and quick.
Atalaya Golf Old Course
Atalaya golf course owes much of its charm and beauty to the fact that it was created back in 1968, before the rash of golf urbanisation development that has seen golf courses spring up all over the Costa del Sol. It was a slower pace of life in those days, when the design of a golf course was the priority rather than packing in the apartments on the edge of every fairway. Skilled ground staff have not only maintained the quality of the golf courses over the years, but created a perfect ambience around the clubhouse with pretty fountains surrounded by richly-coloured beds of flowers.The fact that it is a members’ club open to green fee paying guests gives it a distinctive edge over its newer, flashier competitors. Benalmádena Golf was designed by Marco Martín & Blake Stirling (Global Golf Company) to achieve a hilarious but demanding 9-hole Pitch & Putt par 27 course, ideal both for practicing and perfecting the short game and for getting started in this sport. It is, without a doubt, the best Pitch & Putt on the Costa del Sol.
