Aguilon Golf course
The course design is incredibly spectacular and something far out of the ordinary with more than 100 bunkers, 6 big lakes and a big number of natural ravines which all together makes playing the course an unforgettable experience. With the sharp Aguilón Mountains as a back drop and the breathtaking views of the Pulpí Bay and the challenging design with unique golf holes that players of all levels are guaranteed to remember, this is probably the hottest newcomer among Spanish courses.This magnificent 18-hole course, par 70, offers a unique experience for golfers of all levels. The signature hole, although not the only one, is probably the Par 5 14th, with 454 metres from Yellow, where the green sits on top of a wall. Throughout the course most holes have five or six tee boxes with some up to seven and the least being four.
Alhama
One of the best golf courses on the Iberian Peninsula. Personally designed by Jack Nicklaus Alhama Signature is a big course with 5 spectacular lakes, original circular tees, wide fairways and fast greens. Like other GNK Golf courses part of the beauty of Alhama Signature is in the landscape where the course is located. Like a nature reserve, the golf course is full of native flowers and grasses that make Alhama Signature even more special. Considered by many to be one of, if not the best golf course in Spain; there are too many great holes to mention. Altorreal Golf Course
The Altorreal Golf Club is located in the hills surrounding the valley of Murcia. Its construction dates from 1994, so it is one of the more traditionnal and prestigious golf courses in the Region of Murcia.
It is an 18-hole golf course, par 71, designed by Dave Thomas, whose main feature is the variety in all its holes. The Altorreal golf course requires the player to use all the clubs in his bag, thus satisfying the highest demands raised by its visitors.
In addition to the golf course, the facilities are completed with all the necessary services for the use and enjoyment of its visitors such as restaurant, cafeteria, shop, changing room, driving range, etc.
El Valle Golf Course
El Valle Golf is situated in a beautiful, natural desert valley. The fairways wind their way around Rocky Limestone Mountains and the course provides beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Consistently rated as one of the best courses in the region it is a must-play for all golfers visiting the region of Murcia. A typical Nicklaus course presenting golfers several options off the tee, elevated and well-protected greens, all of which creates the atmosphere Nicklaus wants golfers to experience while playing golf. This golf course does not require power but rather asks the golfer to think their way around the course. Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort
Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort is considered the longest lay-out in Spain, Hacienda del Alamos 7,400-yard golf course boasts eight lakes and 84 bunkers and will provide a challenge for all standards of golfers.
Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort
Situated in the mountains of Sucina, Hacienda Riquelme Golf is another favorite course by many golfers in the region. La Serena Golf Course
La Serena is a beautiful 18-hole mainly flat golf course where the main difficulties come from the prevailing Levante wind & from the water hazards which come into play in no less than 16 holes. The practice and training areas consist of two putting greens with different levels and a ptiching area; plus a driving range overlooking the Mar Menor. The golf course guide is very useful when playing at La Serena.
